Alek's Story

He doesn't have the title written here, so I am not sure what it's called, but Alek wrote a little story that I'm posting below.

Chapter One: The Beginning

Once upon a time there was a castle that was so big that tons of guards had to guard it! There was a king who was very, very sad because his daughter was kidnapped by a wizard who was the king's arch enemy! He would let anyone marry her if they could find and save her.

There was also a father who had three sons. Their names were Josh, Charles and Alek. Josh was the oldest. Charles was the middle. Alek was the youngest. The oldest son wanted to try to win the princess. He walked and walked. He finally came to the castle.

Chapter Two: The Argument

Josh talked to the guard and the king! They had a huge argument! The oldest refused to take the test of his capabilities. The same thing happened with Charles. But when Alek took the test, he passed.

Alek started his journey. As he started his journey, he met an old man. The man said, "Come with me and I will show you the way." Alek, seeing the wizard's marks on the man's belt, said, "No way!"

As he traveled, he saw a dark knight (dark means he's evil) standing not far from where he was. He quickly hid in some nearby bushes. The dark knight had a mask over his face. He also had a sword and shield.

Alek waited until the knight was far away, then he snuck inside. The castle was beautiful! The walls were gold and silver!

Chapter Three: The Secret Door

Then, he looked down the hall. There he saw a secret door. It had a sign on it that meant death. Quickly, he ran to the door. He opened the door and found that there were stairs -- thousands of them! He ran up them to the top of the castle. There was the princess! She was about to get eaten by sharks.

The wizard saw Alek and shot lightning at him. Alek drew his magic sword and blocked it. The fight began! Alek finally won and took the princess back to the king. And they lived happily ever after!

The End

Alek,
I loved your story! I especially liked the part when you used the word "capabilities" and also the part where the princess was almost eaten by sharks!
Looks like you have a gift for writing, just like your Mom!
