Alek finally arrived home from Arizona today (two days late -- that's the fun of flying standby). I am so glad he is home. We had a nice evening where we actually kept the TV turned off and all ate dinner together at the table and even sorta had a family home evening. Earlier today, Alek wrote a letter to Governor Schwarzenegger, mostly consisting of pictures of his "inventions" ( a flyboard and a buggy knife) with a P.S. that these are for the U.S. Army.
How can you not want a kid like that in your life?

Alek is great! It's so awesome that he invents things. Gov Schwarzenegger was pretty good in The Terminator. Of course, he was the bad guy! Hmmm.
I still prefer to refer to him as the Governator! Alek, Evie says she misses you!
You guys don't like Arnie? I'm shocked. We love him around here . . .
