Loved this article. It was really interesting especially the stuff about how Europe's decline was slow and soft because of American power. And that China can't be the world's next superpower. And how a weakened America would necessarily be the biggest target because of our size and wealth.
I was so angry with Congress and the Executive office this past weekend. I couldn't even talk it about it. And then Ken told me yesterday, that the Senate (I think it was the Senate) were starting hearings on immigration reform. And that made me angrier.
If we can swing it, Ken and I are going to be at the last big rally on the mall in D.C. for August 28th. (They're not permitting gatherings on the mall shortly after that -- on a permanent basis, nice to know the government wants to hear the voice of the people, hah!)
Anyway, I'm taking this article and whole bunch of stuff from the Washington Post and putting it up on Ken's family website. I've called and written and faxed senators and representatives (I'm sad to say Senator Ben Nelson purported to represent me for a time while we were in Nebraska -- he's a snake). I'm going to march on Washington in August. I'm including REAL American history in the curriculum for my kid's homeschool (instead of that junk we learned in what's-his-name's class ). I pray often for more time for our country, for safety for the troops, for the leaders to turn to God.
But I'm still frustrated. What more can I do? If I could think of it, what could I do that would stop this (seems to me, deliberate) destruction of our country?
